Entry Level Incoming Sales

Positions Available:
- 2-3 positions ranging from entry level incoming sales representative up to intermediate incoming sales representative (based on skill and potential skill, regardless of the amount of experience or education).
- Positions related to software that is B2B focused (but don't let that scare you).
- Additional positions for specialists. Tell us your strengths in your cover letter and we’ll go from there.
- Other Positions: We are also hiring for other positions (senior enterprise business development, business analyst, project manager, marketing-project manager). You may apply for multiple positions separately. If you know someone in any of these areas, please do them a quick and friendly favour by letting them know about this posting.
Position Overview:
- Full time and permanent.
- Mentorship to get into the routine work quickly and learn about the particular software you are assigned to work with, smoothly.
- Lots of time communicating with clients, over email and by phone. Understanding their needs and what features they care about.
- Not cold calling: these companies are all contacting us or have involvement with us already.
- Not high pressure sales where you try to get people to commit to something right on the spot abruptly.
- Flexible hours (for example: choose to start your day between 6am and 10am, work late some days and shorter on others).
- A lot of the communication is around negotiating renewals, generating quotes when they ask, coordinating finding answers to product questions, providing comparisons to competition, and leveraging email templates and AI when it makes sense to.
- Delivering reports to management on metrics and sales forecasts.
- Spotting opportunities and trends for product changes to increase sales.
- Learning all about the software product and the industry (lots of learn).
- Does not involve a lot of travel outside of the city.
- Does not involve selling a commodity that is the same as numerous other companies. All our B2B software sold has a very unique place in the market.
Requirements:
- Superb communication and language skills, both written and verbal.
- Enjoys learning about the software, about the clients, and talking to clients.
- Hard working.
- Very comfortable with software in general.
- Understands business mindset of customers (ROI, up-front discounted versus pay as you go, etc)
- No specific requirements for formal education or industry experience. We evaluate each applicant based on merit and potential rather than formalities.
Nice To Have:
- Pragmatic approach to balancing perfectionism with getting the job done.
- Ideally, has experience selling to businesses.
- Ideally, has experience selling software.
